In Memoriam: Mel Sloan, 86

USC School of Cinematic Arts Professor Emeritus Mel Sloan died Jan. 12 of pneumonia at his home in Van Nuys. He was 86.

Sloan served on the faculty from 1946 until his retirement in 1997.
